Dr. Duffis received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University before completing his Medical Degree from Meharry Medical College. After his residency at the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Duffis devoted his attention to fellowships in Vascular Neurology and Neurointerventional Surgery at Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey respectively.
Specializing in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke, endovascular treatment of aneurysms and cerebral arteriovenous malformations, as well peri-operation embolization of head and neck tumors, Dr. Duffis is part of the stroke center team at The University Hosptial as a board-certified vascular neurologist. He provides medical and endovascular expertise to treat stroke patients. Additionally, Dr. Duffis actively publishes articles in peer-reviewed journals and books including original research.
Dr. Duffis is committed to providing outstanding care and expertise to patients. He is fluent in spanish and values timely communication to referring physicians.
