Director of Neurosurgical Pain Management
Dr. Jennifer Gyi joined the Neurological Institute of New jersey in August 2013. She is a graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and the St. John’s University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Gyi completed Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training at the SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center. After completing her residency, she spent a year obtaining advanced training in the Interventional Spine Fellowship at Coordinated Health in Bethlehem, PA.
Specializing in the non-surgical treatment of spine disorders and musculoskeletal medicine, Dr. Gyi is part of the Comprehensive Spine Center at the Neurological Institute of New Jersey and works within the Center for Pain Management. Dr. Gyi has additional training and expertise in medical acupuncture and is also a Registered Pharmacist. She is available to treat patients with a wide range of spine pathology and is trained in interventional spine injections, electromyography, spinal cord stimulation, discograms, and medical pain management.
Dr. Gyi is committed to providing outstanding care and expertise to her patients. She is fluent in Cantonese and values timely communication to referring physicians and patients.
