UMDNJ-The University Hospital First to Use Pipeline Stents in Northern New Jersey

Procedure used to treat rare, complex brain aneurysms

UMDNJ-The University Hospital is the first hospital in northern New Jersey to use the Pipeline™ Embolization Device, referred to as a pipeline stent, to treat rare, complex brain aneurysms.  The hospital successfully used the pipeline stents for two patients on April 24.
