A new textbook chapter authored by renowned skull base and pituitary surgeon, Dr. James K. Liu, on “The Role of Transsphenoidal Surgery in the Management of Complex Lesions Involving the Skull Base” was just published in the Elsevier text entitled, “Transsphenoidal Surgery” by Edward Laws and Giuseppe Lanzino. Dr. Liu is a leading expert in minimally invasive endonasal endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumors, craniopharyngiomas and skull base lesions. Dr. Liu has been a frequent lecturer on the topic and has been published widely on topics in Skull Base Neurosurgery.
